Response to States' Petitions to Secede from the United States

Dear friends,



I wanted to let you know about a new petition I created on We the People,  
a new feature on WhiteHouse.gov, and ask for your support. Will you add your  
name to mine?  If this petition gets 25,000 signatures by December 13, 2012,  
the White House will review it and respond!



We the People allows anyone to create and sign petitions asking the Obama  
Administration to take action on a range of issues.  If a petition gets  
enough support, the Obama Administration will issue an official response.

Disregard ALL state petitions of secession as we agree to stand as  
ONE COUNTRY in support of our leaders and our troops.


WE THE PEOPLE who represent citizens of the United States of America and  
it's territories stand as ONE NATION, in committed support of our  
government and servicemen who have fought, died and continue to protect our  
rights to Freedom here and abroad.  We are both ashamed and embarrassed by  
the recent petition filings on behalf of many US states to secede from this  
country whose liberties we work hard for and enjoy on a daily basis, and  
submit with resounding voice, our support for our country.

We are comprised of citizens who have despite any disagreement with  
government policies, appreciate this country and all that it stands for.  We  
will NOT allow ourselves to be represented by states that have filed  
secession petitions without having our voices heard.
